MISS TALENT WORLD HARVEST FESTIVAL 2011 30TH APRIL 2011

Kuching – 15 finalists of Miss World Harvest Festival 2011 once again competing to grab the second subsidiary title, “Miss Talent World Harvest Festival 2011” after their first subsidiary title, “Ratu Cuti-Cuti 1Malaysia”.

This subsidiary title was once again organized by the Sarawak Cultural Village and sponsored by E-One Dasri Talent Management.

These 15 finalists showcase their talents and skills according to the theme given – Diva. The contestants choose any popular songs and perform any popular songs by the diva chosen.

The finalists was judged based on their talent, originality, creativity and costume. Their will be judged by 3 professional jury namely En. Zakaria Hassan and Ms. Eileen Chan, botha theatre activist; and Norafizah Busman; a popular local singer.

The winner Sharifah Alya Nabila walked away with cash prize worth RM1, 000.00, a trophy, a sash and a bouquet of flower, while 1st runner –up Asheila Bakri and 2nd runner-up Noor Faizah Abdul Latif walked with RM700.00 and RM500.00 respectively. Last year winner was won by Cik Ummu Khansa Romainoor, who was the winner of “Miss Fair & Lovely World Harvest Festival 2010”.

The prizes was handover by Yang Berbahagia Datin Gloria Gembong, wife of Yang Berbahagia Datu Ik Pahon anak Joyik, Permanent Secretary of Ministry of Tourism and Heritage Sarawak.

This event was also organized with the objective of enhancing the publicity and ticket sales for the grand event World Harvest Festival 2011 at SCV on May 28 and 29, 2011 which is organised by the Sarawak Cultural Village (SCV) and supported by the Ministry of Tourism and Heritage Sarawak.
