INTERNATIONAL CULTURAL CONCERT,
DAY TIME WORKSHOP AND BAZAAR

 

The Harvest Festival (Gawai) is celebrated on a grander scale with the participations of cultural troupes from other countries.
This year our friends from Nitto Rong Organization of Bangladesh and Kumpulan Batambul Rungus Matunggong of Sabah will be joining this year’s festival.
Last year, we celebrate the harvest festival with our friends from Thailand, Annah Rais and Bisaya community.
A series of joint workshops by the local and invited cultural troupes will be held during the 2-days 1 night festival, where visitors can have the opportunity to share and learn about each community’s traditions, foods and handicraft.

Come to Sarawak Cultural Village on May 28th and 29th, 2011 and celebrate the fun-filled festival with your love ones. Make it a family affair. The typical Sarawakian hospitality awaits you!
