Our Vision
  • This is a sacred cultural gathering of world communities that grow paddy and celebrates the harvest in a spirit of brotherhood and common understanding.
  • This festival will offer a golden opportunity for Asian cultural troupes together with indigenous groups from Sarawak and Sabah, and it promises to be an event that the world will be watching.

  • To link and connect all the world communities that grow paddy and celebrate the harvest.
  • To promote and preserve the rich cultural heritage of these world communities regionally.
  • Sarawak Cultural Village believes that Gawai or the Harvesting Festival has a lot to offer and our rich and colourful cultures have been our strong and main selling point in our promotion of Sarawak as the tourist destination.
